2. Our products

Places Remembered sells canvas prints based on genuine vintage photographs and enhanced artwork from our archive. Product descriptions, images, sizes, and other details are provided on each product page.

We do our best to display colors and product details accurately. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device, and display settings. Minor differences in color, tone, cropping, or finish are not usually considered defects.

3. Canvas print finish

Our canvas prints are printed flat onto textured canvas. Some artwork may show the appearance of brushstrokes, painterly detail, or raised texture in the preview image, but the final product is a flat printed canvas with a matte finish.

Canvas prints are stretched around a wooden frame and include mirrored image edges.

4. Orders

When you place an order, you agree that all information you provide is accurate and complete, including your name, email address, billing details, and shipping address.

After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not guarantee acceptance if there is a pricing error, stock issue, technical problem, or other issue that prevents us from fulfilling the order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, incorrect product information, or unavailable items.

5. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown on the website and may be changed at any time without notice.

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our website.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

6. Shipping and delivery

We offer free delivery to the USA, Canada, UK, select countries in the European Union, and Australia/New Zealand. Most orders are produced and shipped from facilities within the destination region, helping avoid customs delays and additional import charges. Prints are made to order so please allow 7 to 14 days for manufacture and delivery. Our aim is to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location, the printing and fulfillment process, the shipping carrier, customs delays, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct before submitting your order. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer.

7. Damaged or defective items

If your canvas print arrives damaged in transit, or if it has a manufacturing defect, please contact us at info@placesremembered.com as soon as possible.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the damage or defect.

Where appropriate, we will replace the damaged or defective item free of charge.

8. Refunds and satisfaction guarantee

We want you to be completely delighted with your purchase. Places Remembered offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

If your print is damaged in transit, has a manufacturing defect, or you are not completely happy with your order, please contact us at info@placesremembered.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue. This may include a replacement or a full refund.

Refunds are normally issued back to the original payment method.

9. Returns

Because our canvas prints may be made to order, we may not always require the item to be returned before issuing a replacement or refund.

If a return is required, we will provide instructions by email.

10. Product reviews

Customers may be able to leave product reviews on our website. By submitting a review, you agree that your review may be displayed publicly on our website.

You are responsible for the content of any review you submit. Reviews must not contain offensive, unlawful, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or spam content.

Purchasing a canvas print does not give you copyright or reproduction rights to the image or artwork.

Canvas prints purchased from Places Remembered are supplied as physical wall art for personal, decorative, gift, business, hospitality, or interior display purposes.

You may display the physical print in your home, office, business, hotel, restaurant, café, vacation home, or other interior space. You may not reproduce, scan, copy, resell, or create derivative products from the artwork without written permission.
